I chose UofT due to its reputation of being a prestigious school. Some advantages are there are lots of course choices and you can always change your program second year if you don't like your current program. Some disadvantages include the large class sizes and POST.

What did you wish you knew before choosing your specific program? What are the advantages and disadvantages of your program? List any advice for incoming first-year students about your program of study.

I would try taking courses that interest me, even though it may not be applicable to my program, since we were allowed to take a few electives.

What was your favourite university experience?

Attending classes that I am interested in, such as BIO120. Doing labs for chemistry class even though it could be stressful at times.

What was your least favourite university experience?

Going into midterms and exams hoping that I don’t panic and forget everything I studied, attending morning classes when I was still half asleep and couldn't take in any lecture information.

What is the hardest part about your program and what were the steps that you took to overcome any difficulties?

The large class sizes makes it hard to approach professors for questions since there is always a lineup before and after lectures.

If you were able to take electives, what was your favourite elective? If you were not able to take electives, what was your favourite course and why?

BIO120 as it went more in depth about evolution and the material was really interesting.
