Mentorship Coordinator

Job Description

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and implement all initiatives and services related to the LEAP Mentorship Program.

  • Collaborate with the Department of Operations to develop, evaluate and execute a hiring process for the Mentorship Program.

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to pair Mentors and Mentees in the Mentorship Program.

  • Facilitate discussion and collaboration in the Mentorship Program by creating weekly discussion questions for members.

  • Monitor engagement with the LEAP Mentorship Program and work with the LEAP internal team to develop plans to keep engagement high. 

  • Develop programs relating to community development for the LEAP Mentorship Program and the LEAP internal team.

  • Plan professional development opportunities for the LEAP Mentorship Program and the LEAP internal team. 

  • Assist with other tasks as needed

 

Qualifications

  • Can commit 5-10 hours per week 

  • Attending a Canadian post-secondary institution for the current school year

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Organizational Skills

  • Works well in a team environment
