Human Resources Manager, Learning & Development

Job Description

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist Vice President, Human Resources with various tasks such as learning and development initiatives, reviewing policies and procedures, and gathering feedback to analyze the performance

  • Support talent attraction process for panellists, mentors, and internal team, including application writing, screening, interviewing and onboarding

  • Spearhead talent development and performance management initiatives to equip volunteers with skills needed to thrive in their roles

  • Develop culture plan and volunteer experience strategy

  • Maintain a positive team environment through the facilitation of collaboration and ensuring a meaningful experience for all executive members 

  • Support other department initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • Able to commit 5-15 hours per week

  • Willingness to learn Human Resources Practices

  • Works well in a team environment

  • Organizational skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience conducting interviews is an asset

  • Experience training others is an asset
