Job Description



  • Support Public Relations Director

  • Research opportunities for Public Relations collaborations with different organizations across Canada

  • Develop a national Public Relations outreach plan for LEAP Canada

  • Communicate with national and local media outlets to increase exposure and brand awareness

  • Write and compose press releases, press packages and editorial content as assigned by the Public Relations Director

  • Monitor media coverage of the organization and compose a contact list of media organizations across Canada

  • Complete other tasks as assigned by the Public Relations Director


  • Can commit an average of 5-10 hours per week

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Organizational Skills

  • Creative/Innovative

  • Works well in a team environment
