Job Description

 

Responsibilities

  • Conducting research to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about LEAPCanada’s goals, and then contextualizing your findings.

  • Using social media to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote company initiatives.

  • Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.

  • Monitoring social media metrics.

  • Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for the company.

  • Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and to reach consumers.

  • Creating video content, both long and short, through all social media outlets (Instagram Reels, TikToks, Youtube Shorts, etc) and staying on top of new trends each day.

Qualifications

  • Please send in your portfolio with your handle to any social media platform (TikTok, Instagram, Youtube, etc) as we would love to see your previous content creations! 

  • You have excellent writing and editing skills.

  • You have a sense of branding and know how to keep a consistent tone of voice in your writing.

  • You have the ability to write for multiple channels (post captions, social media, short/long-form video content, etc). 

  • You are able to determine customer needs and you can translate them to content ideas.

  • You can create basic visuals.

  • You are able to dedicate 3-5 hours a week

  • You have strong listening and communication skills

  • You have the capacity to work independently and collaboratively 

  • You're data-driven and know how to identify success metrics.

  • You know when to ask for feedback and you can implement it well.

  • You're brimming with creative ideas for LEAP’s content.
