Job Description
Responsibilities

Conducting research to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about LEAPCanada’s goals, and then contextualizing your findings.

Using social media to engage consumers, respond to questions or complaints, and to promote company initiatives.

Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.
-
Monitoring social media metrics.
-
Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for the company.
-
Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and to reach consumers.

Creating video content, both long and short, through all social media outlets (Instagram Reels, TikToks, Youtube Shorts, etc) and staying on top of new trends each day.

Qualifications

You have excellent writing and editing skills.

You have a sense of branding and know how to keep a consistent tone of voice in your writing.

You have the ability to write for multiple channels (post captions, social media, short/long-form video content, etc).

You are able to determine customer needs and you can translate them to content ideas.

You can create basic visuals.

You are able to dedicate 3-5 hours a week

You have strong listening and communication skills

You have the capacity to work independently and collaboratively

You're data-driven and know how to identify success metrics.

You know when to ask for feedback and you can implement it well.

You're brimming with creative ideas for LEAP’s content.
