Job Description
Responsibilities

LEAP Coffee Chat Mentors will communicate and meet with mentees within a 20-minute pre-booked time-slot to provide insights on post-secondary and daily life experiences.

Provide your preferred coffee chat topics which will be published on our website. (Examples include your chosen field of study, your experience at a specific post-secondary institution, skills such as time-management and organization, studying tips, and much more! More information about pre-existing coffee chat mentor descriptions is on our page if you wish to see how responses are formatted.)

We also request your headshot, university name and program, previous experience details, and interests (provide all that apply).

Communicate with mentees in a friendly and welcoming manner that allows them to feel supported and guided through the Coffee Chat Mentor Initiative managed by LEAP Canada.
Qualifications

Can commit up to 1 hour per week availability (3 x 20 minutes) until your term ends. (You may choose which months you wish to volunteer for).

You must create your personal Calendly link (Free of Charge). Mentees will sign up for a brief 20 minute coffee chat call with you using this link.
